  • Is contemplative coaching for me?
Not all coaching is created equal. Contemplative coaching is for those ready to stop outsourcing their purpose and start living from the inside out. This isn’t about quick fixes or lofty abstraction—it’s about re-routing your inner pathways so your outer life reflects your deepest values. Together, we’ll look honestly at your circumstances, name what no longer serves you, and build a life infused with clarity, conviction, and spiritual depth. I’m in the process of certification with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), grounded in their ethical standards and core competencies. My approach, however, is distinct—rooted in the contemplative tradition, integrating strategy and soul in equal measure. Yes, we’ll explore spiritual questions—but always in the context of your lived reality: your work, your rhythms, your relationships. Because when spirit is at the center, everything else begins to align with greater peace, purpose, and prosperity. If you’re longing for a life that’s grounded yet luminous, deeply connected yet wholly your own—this is for you.
  • What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching and therapy are both powerful—but they serve different purposes. Therapy often begins with past wounds and works toward healing. Coaching starts in the present and looks to the future. It’s not about fixing what’s broken, but about activating what’s already within you. As a contemplative coach, I don’t give advice or operate from an assumption of your brokenness. I see you as whole, wise, and capable—with the Spirit of God already moving in your life. My role is to create space for clarity. You bring a pressing question or situation into each session, and through deep presence, powerful questions, and honest reflection, we uncover insight that’s already within you. Coaching helps surface what’s been buried—limiting beliefs, hidden desires, divine nudges—and gives you a 360° view of your life. It expands what you see, names what you’ve ignored, and opens new possibilities. Because words create worlds, and the ones we speak shape the lives we live. If you're ready to move forward—with God at the center and your voice as the guide—this is the work. While coaching can feel therapeutic at times, it is not therapy—and I am not a therapist or counselor. I do not diagnose, treat, or help process trauma or clinical mental health concerns. If you're seeking support for those areas, I recommend working with a licensed mental health professional. If you're seeking clarity, alignment, and spiritually grounded momentum—coaching may be exactly what you need.
  • What makes contemplative coaching different from regular life coaching?
Contemplative coaching draws from the mystical tradition, offering a slower, more soulful approach to growth. We don’t just set goals—we ask the deeper questions beneath them. The process blends reflection and action, helping you discern how to live a life that is aligned, embodied, and spiritually-centered. It also creates space for the Spirit—an unspoken, often unknowable force—to move through the session itself: through the questions asked, the insight unearthed, and the stillness held between words. This is not productivity for its own sake—it’s transformation led from within.
  • Do I need to be religious to benefit from this coaching?
Not at all. While my lense is rooted in contemplative Christian spirituality, it’s open to anyone drawn to silence, stillness, and depth. I myself draw on sources from all traditions and consider myself a trans-religious theologian (meaning someone who studies God from many traditions, without having one single tradition to call my own). If you’re seeking spiritual clarity and a grounded way of integrating it into everyday life, you’re in the right place.
  • What kinds of topics can we explore in a session?
Everything is welcome—from your spiritual questions to your career challenges, relational patterns, creative blocks, or desire for discipline and meaning. The goal is always integration: bringing spirit into everything you do so your life becomes a whole, not a series of compartments.
  • How do I know if I’m ready for coaching?
You don’t need to have it all figured out—but you do need to be willing to be honest, slow down, and show up for your own transformation. If you're feeling stuck, stretched thin, or spiritually hungry, that’s usually a sign you’re ready.
  • Why is contemplative coaching a premium investment?
Because it’s not just about fixing problems—it’s about rewiring your life at the root. Alone, it’s easy to get stuck in mental loops, circling the same thoughts without resolution. Contemplative coaching interrupts those patterns, creating space for new insight to emerge—insight you often can’t access on your own. This kind of work takes time, presence, and mutual commitment. You’re not paying for quick answers; you’re investing in deep, lasting transformation with the support of someone who walks the path beside you.
